Quality & compliance

We do not make the medicine. We are answerable for it anyway.

A trading company's quality system is its vendor list, its verification steps and its documentation. Ours is built so that a customer can trace any shipment back to a licensed site and a released batch.

Supplier qualification

Getting onto our approved list

Nothing ships from a site that has not been through this. A better price does not shorten the sequence.

Every batch we handle is released against the manufacturer's own quality system, and we review the certificate of analysis against the agreed specification before goods are booked for export.

Analytical verificationCoA reviewed against pharmacopoeial specification, batch by batch.
  • Step 01Licence verification. Manufacturing licence, product licences and GMP certification checked against the issuing authority's records.
  • Step 02Inspection history. Review of regulatory inspection outcomes, observations and any import alerts affecting the site.
  • Step 03Technical questionnaire. Facility, equipment, water system, QC laboratory capability, stability programme and change control.
  • Step 04Sample evaluation. Physical samples with batch CoA, assessed against pharmacopoeial specification.
  • Step 05Quality agreement. Written agreement covering specification, release, deviation reporting, recall and complaint handling.
  • Step 06Ongoing review. Batch performance, complaint history and certificate currency reviewed periodically; sites are removed when they slip.

Pre-shipment inspection

Physical check of packaging, artwork, labelling text, batch coding and carton integrity before dispatch.

Shelf life control

Minimum remaining shelf life confirmed at dispatch, with short-dated stock only supplied on written agreement.

Destination compliance

Import registration, labelling language and permit requirements confirmed for the destination market before booking.

Standards we work to

The frameworks behind the paperwork

We are not a manufacturer and do not claim manufacturing accreditations of our own. What we do is insist that the sites we buy from hold them, and that our own distribution practice follows recognised good distribution principles.

If something goes wrong

Quality complaints are logged on receipt and raised with the manufacturing site's quality unit within two working days, with samples and batch references attached.

Where a recall is initiated by the manufacturer or an authority, we notify every customer who received the affected batches and support reconciliation of the quantities shipped.

Report a quality concern to info@unionkingcorp.com or call +852 6011 3946.

Responsible trading

Where we say no

Unregistered supply

We do not supply products into markets where they are not permitted, however the order is routed.

Incomplete permits

Controlled substances move only against valid import permits and matching export authorisation.

Unverified sources

We do not buy from grey-market intermediaries or sites we cannot trace and verify ourselves.
